The role will lead the business analysis team within the CX&O organization, working closely with the CX&O LT and their team to deeply understand the strategic opportunities, guide the development of analytical models/insights, and build compelling business case presentations that positively influence the outcomes of the opportunities at hand.This role will work closely with the head of BA to help develop and evaluate execution of the strategic agenda, including multi-year strategic planning, developing business plans, securing funding for prioritized strategic initiatives, and coordinating strategic efforts with broader Enterprise business partners.The leader of the business analysis team will play a key role in supporting key strategic initiatives for CX&O. They will support the leadership team in high visibility, long-term initiatives as well as high-priority ongoing opportunities.Key Accountabilities:
Partner with CX&O LT and business segments to design new servicing intent, strategy, and future state operations.Lead a team to build analytical models to drive insights for the CX&O business and their partners.Engage deeply in the strategy for the partner organization, lead major strategic projects, and act as a key thought partner for both the executive and their direct reports.Role Components:

Recruit and sustain a high-performing analytics team capable of providing exceptional analytics and strategic insights to CX&O. The leader will set an exceptionally high bar for excellence, coach current associates to their full potential, and recruit/develop high-potential talent into new open roles.Data
Leverage a data-first approach to identify critical business trends and insights to make specific actionable recommendations to the business. Work closely with data teams across the company to understand critical operations, business, and relevant data to leverage for insights.Analytics
Employ a range of analytical techniques to identify business opportunities and make strategic recommendations. Identify the right series of analytics approaches for each situation and understand the strengths and weaknesses of the models to incorporate them into overall recommendations.Strategy
Using proven business acumen, make analytically grounded strategic recommendations using a clear and effective business case approach. Identify transformational opportunities for change through partnership with the business and other horizontal teams.Communications
Leverage critical deck-building skills to create compelling business cases/stories that influence outcomes with senior executives. Communicate data-driven insights and business case analysis effectively.Teamwork
Partner closely with Operations, Finance, and key business teams across the company. Act as a resource for insights, data generation, and strategic deck building.Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related field is required.B.A. or other relevant graduate degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering is preferred.10+ years of experience in business, operations, or similar applicable experience.5+ years of people leadership experience is required.Preferred candidate will have at least 4 years of work experience in consulting or business analysis.Experience leveraging SQL in a business environment is preferred.Strong analytical and finance skills are required.Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present work products to senior executives.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About The Cigna Group
