Job DescriptionGeneral Purpose
The GED Test Proctor may work three to four days per quarter to provide proctoring services for GED assessment. The Proctor will follow check-in procedures in accordance with the appropriate test being administered. The Proctor will monitor students and ensure that all test takers adhere to the GED testing policy. The Proctor will provide overall support services for the Testing Center.Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Provides testing services to all students during the testing hoursProctors classroom testingSets-up testing computers and ensures they are operationalEnsures that all test administration requirements are met and reports issues related to the successful administration of examsEnsures that all students are following the test administration requirements and reports any irregular testing issues related to breaches in testing protocols and academic dishonestyRequired to submit monthly reports on assessment activities to the Director as requestedOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience
One year of experience providing online testing in a testing center, preferredAbility to work a flexible scheduleHigh School graduate/GED equivalentExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in using computers including applications such as GoogleAbility to utilize various other office equipmentMust be 18 years of ageWork Schedule
For the 2023-24 grant period only, Monday through Friday, hours will be coordinated with the Adult Education Director.Salary and Benefits
Payment Type: $19.00 per hour per grant cycle, no benefits
