is currently seeking a team-focused and results-oriented professional engineer with the desire to cultivate and advance Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and county agency relationships from our
Minneapolis, MN

State DOT Market Leader.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead technical engineering, quality assurance/control, and project management activities for MnDOT and county design and construction projectsSupport growth and development of the DOT market by creating statements of qualifications, proposals, and presentations; conducting contract negotiations; and participating in professional organizations, advertising, and tradeshowsServe as the client contact for multiple project managers and other DOT relationshipsDeliver projects within budget, schedule, and contractual commitmentsNegotiate change orders to the scope of work with the client and subcontractorsWork closely with relevant permitting agenciesDevelop technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering designsProvide construction administration as neededLead, coordinate, and build client teamsEstablish objectives and provide performance feedback for team membersParticipate in recruiting activities by attending professional networking events and college career fairsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) License in MinnesotaMinimum five years of experience managing projects and client relationshipsMinimum five years of experience working in the civil engineering consulting industryPreferred Qualifications:
