Overview
Supports the growth and expansion of our ventures division. Serves as a key member of the team, supports identifies, evaluates and executes new strategic partnerships and investment initiatives that align with our company's strategic objectives. Works closely with members of VNS Health's senior leadership team and will report directly to the Vice President, New Ventures.
Compensation:
$122,300.00 - $164,000.00 Annual

What You Will Do:
Conducts comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential investment or partnership opportunities within the healthcare industry.
Leads internal teams in company co-creation efforts with venture capital firms, venture studios, or entrepreneurs.
Collaborates with internal teams to develop and implement product roadmaps for new ventures and partnership initiatives.
Supports the identification of investments and venture partnerships that will accelerate VNS Health’s strategic objectives.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with external stakeholders, including venture capital firms, startups, industry experts, and potential partners.
Performs end to end due diligence activities, including market analysis, financial analysis, and risk evaluation.
Prepares presentations and investment memos for c-level executives and board members.
Grows and maintains our internal tools, processes, and knowledge base across VNS Health
Collaborates within internal VNS Health stakeholders to align on strategic priorities and growth areas through ventures.
Maintains our investment and co-creation portfolio through tracking latest valuations and strategic impact to VNS Health
Stays abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
Executes on tasks independently with guidance from senior team members.
Supports portfolio management activities through growth planning with PortCo management teams.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent work experience required
Master's Degree in business administration preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum of four years of work experience, with at least two years of banking, consulting, private equity, or early stage investing experience required
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience in developing business plans and financial projections required
Experience within early-stage healthcare businesses, with a demonstrated understanding of how these businesses are built and what makes them successful. required
Proven track record of successfully sourcing, negotiating, and executing strategic partnerships. required
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. required
Team-Player with a can-do attitude required
Desire to learn and teach required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities required
Ability to flex between high-level thinking and detailed problem solving required
