The Division of Pediatric Neurology at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist to provide care in inpatient and outpatient settings, working primarily at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Montana. Clinical activities will focus on high-level neurology care for children and adolescents including:Inpatient consults at St. Vincent Healthcare;Weekly outpatient clinics;Participation in outreach and telehealth programs;3-4 weeks per year supervising the inpatient pediatric neurology service at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.St. Vincent Healthcare has a 220-bed dedicated pediatric floor and a 7-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit fully covered by Pediatric Intensivists. Billings is a friendly community with an affordable lifestyle and excellent school system. Unmatched year-round sporting and outdoor recreation activities are available; Yellowstone is an hour drive away.The Division of Pediatric Neurology is a collegial and growing division that maintains specialty interests in a variety of pediatric and developmental neurological conditions including epilepsy, neurogenetic and neuromuscular diseases, stroke and vascular disease, movement disorders, and functional neuroimaging and basic neuroscience research. Major programs in precision medicine and quality improvement also exist.The University of Utah/Department of Pediatrics offers a competitive salary and an unmatched benefits program, including non-contributory retirement contributions of 20.2% of annual salary that vest immediately. Qualified candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology with Specialization in Child Neurology. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics as a Clinical Attending (this is an unranked Adjunct appointment).Application Process:
