CBIZ ARC assists high growth companies with complex technical accounting, internal and external reporting, external audit preparation, IPO preparation, as well as systems/process and people. This specialized technical knowledge and industry experience allow us to provide a unique perspective in solving today's accounting issues.With over 120 offices and nearly 7,000 associates throughout the U.S. CBIZ (NYSE: CBZ) delivers top-level financial and employee business services to organizations of all sizes, as well as individual clients, by providing national-caliber expertise combined with highly personalized service delivered at the local level.CBIZ has been honored to be the recipient of several national recognitions for 2023:Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the NationTop Workplaces USATop Workplaces - Financial Services IndustryBest and Brightest Companies in WellnessGreat Place to Work CertificationEssential Functions and Primary DutiesProfessional and Technical Responsibilities:Work directly with clients and their external audit firms on technical accounting issues, SEC reporting and other accounting related projectsEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with client personnel of various levelsDemonstrate excellent professional oral and written communication skillsExhibit a professional, business-like demeanorApply problem solving skills and deliver ARC Consulting methodology on engagementsBuild and broaden industry knowledge to support organization and functional initiativesProvide recommendations for improved and enhanced accounting and business efficiency to clientsDemonstrate leadership and provide guidance to other engagement team membersProactively manage career - set goals and career plans with Managing DirectorsManager Responsibilities include:Manage project engagements to completion including adherence to deadlines and client expectationsAssume primary responsibility for day-to-day components of engagements and acting as the key point of contact between ARC Consulting and the clientManage and train staff during engagements and provide real-time feedbackLead/contribute to engagement planning and communicate engagement status updatesGenerate written components of various reports/deliverables related to engagementsAbility to efficiently research technical accounting topics as it pertains to the engagementContribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnelDemonstrate a deep knowledge of the client's business and identify high-risk accounting areasDeliver services that meet ARC Consulting standards of excellencePreferred Qualifications:CPA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP certificationKnowledge of IFRS standardsPrior industry experiencePrior public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional firms preferred)U.S. CPA certification5+ years related experienceBA/BBA/BS in Accounting, Finance or business related fieldProficiency in MS office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPointStrong verbal and written communication skillsExtensive knowledge of US GAAP (revenue recognition, equity accounting, consolidations and financial reporting)Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required6 years of experience in related field3 years of supervisory experienceMust have and preserve required licensesAbility to manage all aspects of client engagementsDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyProficient use of applicable technologyMust be able to travel based on client and business needsThe annual salary target for this job in this market is $120,000- $185,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.The compensation above is not representative of an employee's total compensation.
