The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, initiating, developing and maintaining relationships with our UHNW prospects, with the focus on driving sales momentum for our financial planning teams. This partnership will support Mercer’s efforts to attract new ultra-high net worth clients and families. The Regional Vice President will work in a client-focused, team-centered environment.Essential Job Functions for the Regional Vice President will include:Proven ability to close UHNW wealth management prospectsSeamlessly work as an integral part of the client relationship building process and business development activities between the sales and wealth management teamsComfortable working with prospects in person or over Zoom/phoneSelf-starter who thrives in a fast paced, high-volume sales environmentEffectively build and manage a sales pipeline through organized outreach (mail, email, phone), local events and meetings.Implementing company policies and proceduresEnsuring adherence to company standardsPerforming other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experienceAt least 5 years of successful sales experience in the financial services industry with demonstrated experience engaging UHNW clientsSeries 65 or combination of Series 7 and Series 66 license required unless candidate holds one of the following credentials: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Consultant (CIC)Comprehensive industry and investment management knowledgeExperience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)Excellent communication, presentation, listening and analytical skills.Proven time management and organizational skills in high-volume, high-energy environmentsExperience determining the needs of partners and prospects through probing questions, offering solutions and asking for the right actions.Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPointFlexibility to travel up to 30-40%Work Schedule:
