Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Engineer with interest and experience in the AI space. To ensure success as an Engineer, you should have excellent full stack coding skills, and experience with Python, Django and PostgreSQL. Ultimately, a top-class candidate demonstrates strong dynamic problem solving skills in code that can match the fast-moving pace of innovation associated with AI. This candidate will start as an independent contributor alongside other engineers.
Core ResponsibilitiesContributing Python code to a Django application with standard integrations to core technologies like PostgreSQL and RedisContributing to architectural decisions and tech stack selectionReviewing application requirements and interface designsIdentifying web-based user interactionsDeveloping and implementing highly responsive user interface componentsTroubleshooting interface software and debugging application codeDeveloping and implementing architecture to support user interface conceptsMonitoring and improving front-end performanceDocumenting application changes and developing updates
Skills + ExperienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field3+ years of software development experienceProven skills with Python, PostgreSQL, and Django or similar languages and frameworksStrong problem solving skills in code that can match the fast-moving pace of innovation associated with AIExcellent troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skillsNice to have:Experience with DevOps (currently using AWS)Model fine tuning experienceExperience with AI libraries (e.g. Langchain) or data analysis libraries (e.g. Pandas)
