Positions are available at the Little Rock Midtown clinic and at soon-to-be-opened locations in Bryant and Conway. How You’ll ContributeYour responsibilities encompass a wide spectrum of direct patient services, reflecting the core values of our organization. You will conduct thorough assessments, gather complete medical, social, and family histories, and prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments tailored to individual therapeutic goals. Additionally, you will counsel and educate patients and their families, fostering a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.

Moreover, you will actively contribute to our healthcare initiatives, such as Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Meaningful Use (MU), aligning your work with the highest standards of care. Your expertise will extend to the diagnosis of acute and chronic illnesses, ordering lab and x-ray studies, and the formulation and initiation of patient management plans. In cases requiring specialized care, you will make referrals, ensuring patients receive the necessary treatment and support.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments, including medical, social, and family histories.

Perform complete physical examinations within your scope of practice.

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses using evidence-based protocols.

Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments according to therapeutic goals.

Educate and counsel patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.

Order and interpret routine and diagnostic lab and x-ray studies.

Develop and monitor patient management plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.

Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care as needed.

Support and implement goals, policies, and systems such as Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Meaningful Use (MU).

Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and develop collaborative relationships with other departments and community health agencies.

See all types of patients from diverse backgrounds.

Become certified in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and HIV care.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or a recognized Nurse Practitioner program.

Arkansas APRN licensure.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

CPR and ACLS training within 9 months of employment.

DEA licensure.

Experience to fulfill the duties of this position.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and network systems.

Excellent organizational, written, and customer service skills.

The ability to establish effective working relationships and problem-solve independently.

Either full COVID-19 vaccination or a willingness to become vaccinated before starting employment.

Willingness to become certified in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and HIV care.
