People Technology is one of the major segments of Walmart Global Tech’s Enterprise Business Services organization, which is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and the Associate Digital Experience.What you’ll do:Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support in the development of best practices, architectural designs, and technology solutions.Lead and mentor teams in the implementation of complex solutions leveraging Workday’s Core HR modules, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the continuous improvement of our Workday implementation while building alignment across open stack designs and architecture.Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in software engineering, advocating for the adoption of Workday functionality where appropriate.Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and resilient systems that meet business goals and customer needs.Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and troubleshooting sessions to ensure the highest standards are met when implementing Workday configuration or Workday integrations.Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and inclusivity within the team.Lead the end-to-end integration of Workday and SAP SuccessFactors systems with open source technologies in large-scale tier-0 systems.What you’ll bring:Deep Technical Expertise:
