We are seeking wastewater professionals at various levels to join our growing team! This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow and become part of a flourishing group of esteemed professionals. At H2M, our wastewater engineers work on projects spanning the full life cycle. This covers all phases such as planning, feasibility studies, design, construction, and maintenance on a multitude of wastewater design projects. We understand that no two projects are the same and can pose unique challenges in their design construction, operation, and maintenance. Using cutting-edge solutions, detailed construction drawings, and comprehensive internal quality control practices, H2M delivers design excellence on time and on budget. In this role, you will work within a project team to support wastewater infrastructure projects from initial project programming through construction with the support and guidance of seasoned professionals. Job Responsibilities: Perform engineering work in various engineering fields with an emphasis on wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment processes, during schematic design, detailed design and design services during construction phases of projects. Lead engineering evaluations, execute design calculations, and prepare reports, plans, and specifications with support of senior level engineering staff. Construction administration and on-site resident support activities, including construction phase management activities, coordination of shop drawing reviews and RFI responses, and lead the development of construction change orders. Lead administrative and project management related tasks for various engineering design projects, including management of subconsultants. Interface directly with Clients and third-party construction managers, present engineering findings. Support environmental studies, permitting and alternative analyses. Check performance or conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection and testing. Perform field activities such as site investigations, witness testing and milestone construction observation. Data collection, manipulation, analysis, and documentation, including but not limited engineering design reports, memos, and studies. Supervise, schedule, delegate, and manage the work of technical staff and junior engineers. Capable of working virtually with employees in other offices around the country. Assist with business development pursuits writing technical proposals and assisting with budgeting. Lead project pursuits of small and moderate size. Education and Qualifications: BS Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical) required. Minimum of 5+ years of professional work experience in the design and/or design services during construction of wastewater treatment plants, collection and conveyance systems and alternative onsite treatment systems. Experience with construction administration and project management experience of designed systems is preferred. Professional in Engineering (PE) in New York or ability to obtain NY PE through reciprocity within 6 months of hire. Candidate must have strong verbal/written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work well both independently and in team environment. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Teams, Outlook). Understanding of Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D software programs. Excellent client relations and technical writing skills. salary range

for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
