uncover insights
for internal and external customers. What you do
Create and maintain statistical models applied to our customer datasets. Interpret and present data insights to enable better decision making. Assess quality and ensure integrity in the data we present to our customers. Identify key metrics that affect our customers and discover which behaviors affect those metrics. Create ways to marry our datasets with external data sources. Collaborate with data engineering teams to create scalable processing pipelines. Guide our data collection team on acquiring data for in-house tire/vehicle models. Work with external tire laboratories and manufacturers to design data collection tests. Required Skills
Familiarity with Git or modern version control system. Experience with literature reviews. Ability to read and write publications in the data science space. Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way. Experience with data science tools (Pandas, numpy, Jupyter). Appreciation for thoroughness and correctness in data science. Nice-to-have Skills
3+ years of experience in Python/R. Passion for creating useful and intuitive data visualizations. Experience working with customers on proprietary datasets. Enjoyment for using data to prove or disprove hypotheses. Interest in vehicle safety, autonomous driving, and/or mobility space.
