EverBright has an ambitious vision to enable the decarbonization of the home and we’re looking for a Project Manager, Business Development to join a new team within EverBright responsible for identifying significant market opportunities for EverBright’s clean energy solutions and designing new commercial offerings to penetrate those opportunities. Near-term priorities include launching EverBright’s virtual power plant offering and collaborating with affiliate groups to offer their products and services on EverBright platform.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the team in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities in the residential solar and virtual power plant marketConduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activitiesSupport market sizing, business case development and regulatory diligence to qualify new market opportunities and inform go-to-market strategiesAssist in the development of business proposals, presentations, and marketing collateralCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, finance, and marketing, to develop and refine new business productsAssist in contract negotiations with customers, partners, and vendorsMonitor and track progress on business development initiatives and provide regular reportsJob Overview

Employees in this role assist in the development and execution of plans for new and enhanced generation projects. This job coordinates allocation of resources, schedules, and technical adequacy, ensuring the project or transaction is completed in the most cost effective and competitive manner. This position participates in all aspects of the business deal and ensures the project is completed on time and within budgetary constraints.Job Duties

Leads and facilitates the day to day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost effective and competitive resultCoordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiationsSupports due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projectsActs as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnectionAssists in the construction of contractual arrangements for project developmentParticipates in negotiating agreements with consultants and subcontractorsEnsures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirementsFosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the communityPerforms other job-related duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications
