We are seeking a Sr. Cisco Network Architect to be accountable for the direction, strategy, and implementation of the overall Enterprise (cross domain) Network Infrastructure Architecture. The Architect will design complex LAN and WAN strategies to meet a broad spectrum of business needs; coordinate the implementation, optimization, and operation of LAN/WAN systems including procurement, installation, configuration, and management; provide strategic planning, evaluations, and recommendations to users and management; and create and maintain proper record of network design and solutions.

12+ months Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related field. CCDP Design (Specialty) OR CCNP Routing & Switching (Specialty) OR CCNP Data Center (Specialty) OR CCNP Wireless (Specialty) 7+ years of experience providing network systems design, implementation, and support in an enterprise-class environment with a complex network architecture. Experience with Network Design in complex environments (legacy and SDA). Experience with Cisco Software-Defined Access (SD-Access). Experience integrating Legacy/old Hardware into the DNA platform. Experience encrypting traffic for embedded systems. Experience configuring policies on an ISE server to support role-based network access control. Experience with port communication between Cisco DNA Center and ISE servers. Experience with fabric in a box solution in SDA. Experience with Cisco routing and switching. Experience with Cisco Firewalls. Experience with Cisco Wireless. Experience with F5 Load Balancers. Experience with Infoblox (DNS & DHCP). Responsibilities: Lead the design, configuration, and management of Cisco networking data center equipment. Oversee network monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization. Lead complex technical design discussions with different teams. Work with advanced routing and complex environment. Cisco NGFW - Design, Implement and Manage: Design, deploy and manage Cisco NGFW Firewalls for advanced network security. Deploy best practice between Cisco NGFW and (legacy networks, SDA, ACI and ISE). Upgrades and patches to Cisco NGFW. Identity Management and Access Control: Design, deploy and manage Cisco ISE for Network Access Control. Upgrades and improvement to Cisco ISE. Design and implementation of NAC best practices. AAA and Radius authentication. Network Infrastructure: Design, maintain, and optimize network components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless network infrastructure. High/Low level design of complex topologies. Security and Threat Protection: Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity practices and technologies. Deploy security best practices and standards at all the campus network. Proactive patching to network components. General Responsibilities: Coordinate network strategies, participate in technology selection activities, and work with the business and IT stakeholders to ensure the long-term network infrastructure technology plan. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and communicate long term vision and comprehensive strategic plans for infrastructure and enterprise architecture solutions. Serve as a hands-on technical expert for enterprise-wide network infrastructure technology. Define principles/standards for infrastructure and/or enterprise architecture. Lead vendor evaluation and selection of network technology solution. Design and implement new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks. Install, configure, and support network equipment including firewalls, routers, switches, and WAN performance and monitoring. Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, DNS and DHCP servers, and other hardware. Design, implement, and support firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and remote-access VPNs. Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry. Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades. Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services. Procure network equipment and manage subcontractors involved with network installation. Submit changes to arrange scheduled software and firmware updates keeping equipment patched and to the latest system releases. Create complex design artifacts including network layouts and logical/physical designs. Ensure proper documentation including design, procedural and lessons learned; maintain and update existing documentation. Produce clearly written technical deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders including design diagrams and planning guides. Develop and evaluate system/network performance criteria and measurement methods. Research current technology; provides ongoing information to management, peers, and network users regarding enhancements and innovations. Design and implementation of Legacy Networks. Design and implementation of SDA Networks (DNA and ACI). Create, modify and troubleshoot Cisco ISE policies. Create and maintain proper record of network design and solutions.
