OVERVIEW:The Divisional Human Resources Generalist is to provide HR operational support to the Divisional Headquarters and the Corps.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide daily HR support and services to all assigned locationsCoordinate the assignment, tracking, and monitoring of required HR trainingPrepare and review the weekly Human Resources agenda for Command Finance Council meetingsDistribute approved Command Finance Council decisions to CorpsSubmit required paperwork for employment approval from field locationsOversee the pre-hire and onboarding processes for new hiresHandle all terminations and status changesOversee the employee evaluation processAssist with employment verification requestsMaintain accurate records in HRIS systemCommunicate with stakeholders to address HR-related inquiries and follow-upAnswer various inquiries from leadership and employees on benefits, evaluations, and payrollAssist with the coordination and execution of HR eventsManage the leave of absence and/or worker's compensation programsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local HR-related regulationsTravel to various Corps locations for onsite HR supportOther related duties as requiredEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:CA driver's license (required)Experience in human resources (2 years required)High school diploma (required)Bachelor's Degree in business administration or Human Resources (preferred)Professional Certification in Human Resources (preferred)SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese (preferred)Analytical and research skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityProficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office softwareDetail orientedTeam playerPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
