As a member of the Product Counseling team, you’ll partner with innovative product teams around the world to ensure we can achieve our business strategy and deliver amazing customer benefits while complying with applicable laws and regulations.As a core legal partner for Intuit’s Consumer Group, which includes Intuit’s flagship TurboTax offering, you’ll advise and counsel on a wide variety of matters, including AI/ML, consumer protection, data privacy and data protection, mobile, product liability, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. At least 6-8 years of experience primarily advising technology companies, either at a law firm or in-houseSignificant breadth of knowledge in as many of the following areas as possible: financial services, advertising and marketing regulations, consumer protection, AI/ML, data privacy and protection, IP, mobile and cloud computing, and competition lawDemonstrated ability to perform with minimal supervisionExperience providing legal support on a global scaleAbility to communicate with business partners about regulatory obligations and risk management processesExcellent drafting and negotiation skillsAbility to produce clear and succinct written legal analysis and business communications, and to counsel and manage clients, including senior managementAbility to interact with and lead change with senior executive leadersAbility to effectively frame issues to drive strategic thinking and executionComfortable and adept at navigating uncharted areas and balancing risk and opportunity, thinking creatively to enable smart decision-makingExcellent teaching and training skillsExcellent driver and project managerExcellent business acumenExperience in-house preferredJD and membership in good standing with at least one US State BarResponsibilities

As a core legal partner to Intuit’s Consumer Group, you will be challenged to apply your legal expertise across a number of areas, partnering closely with product management, engineering, content, design, marketing, security, compliance and operations teams, and more.You will provide legal advice and counseling on a variety of cutting edge matters, including AI/ML, data privacy and data protection, financial services, mobile and cloud computing, advertising and marketing, product liability, IP, and regulatory compliance.You may structure, draft, negotiate and advise on various complex transactions with minimal direction and supervision.Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is CA $188,500 - $264,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
