Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS)has the fastest, lowest cost path to commercial fusion energy.
CFS collaborates with MIT to leverage decades of research combined with groundbreaking new high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnet technology.
HTS magnets will enable compact fusion power plants that can be constructed faster and at lower cost.

Corporate Controller PositionCFS is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead the company’s accounting and tax activities, and to join the company’s leadership team on our journey from the current single location, pre-revenue stage, to an operating company with a broad range of commercial and development activities.
The position has direct oversight of all financial transaction recording and reporting, the company’s strong controls environment, operation of key financial functions and, overall, contributing to process improvement across the company.
The role reports to the company’s Chief Financial Officer and is one of the key leaders of the company’s financial and operating team.
As a peer to other functional leaders across the company, this role will have significant visibility and impact on operations and execution as the company continues its rapid growth, completes its SPARC pilot plant program, and initiates commercial activities with ARC commercial fusion power plant sales and in other related product areas.
With CFS broadening its activities and in growth mode, the work of the person in this role will be central to the foundation on which the company operates through this decade.
