We have high aspirations that are achieved when we work together with a shared purpose.The Role:The Operations Communications Specialist will be responsible for the execution of internal communications strategy developed by the Ops Integration team. They will work cross-functionally to ensure Operations messaging is consistent across all our internal communication channels.They will be a key member of our Ops Services team, whose priority is to make lives easier for operations. Success in this role will be demonstrated by effectively delivering the messages of cross functional projects and thoughtful project management of internal publications.What You’ll Do:Craft messages and materials for internal audiences, working closely with other Support Center Teams: FSQA, Tech, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Experience, Development, and People + CultureSupport the Ops Integration Team to deliver rollouts and communications to Operations - both planned and unplannedMeasure success by tracking key performance indicators to determine effectiveness of current and future communicationsWork cross functionally to deliver key messages from other Support Center Teams: FSQA, Tech, Marketing, Customer Experience, Development, and People + CulturePartner with L+D to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for seasonal recipe rollouts and other initiativesContinuously develop restaurant resources (posters, recipe cards, job aids) in partnership with L+DCreate and maintain a feedback loop for operational communicationsWork as a partner with communications on any Executive level writing or communicationsDrive CAVA mission, values, and competencies through the in-restaurant experienceThe Qualifications:2+ years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related roleDemonstrated success in developing clear, compelling, and on-brand messaging and materialsProven ability to create and manage effective communications initiativesOutstanding written, verbal, and visual communications skills, demonstrating clarity of thought, ability to influence, and skill in adopting appropriate tone of voiceTrack record of collaboration and positive, productive relationship with multiple internal partnersPassionate, dedicated, and hungry to learn, with a personal reputation for kindness, honesty, and integrityExceptionally organized, efficient, and detail oriented gracefully manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentExperience with various desktop publishing and design software (Adobe InDesign, Publisher, WordPress, Canva, PowerPoint, Illustrator, etc.)Is innovative – always finding new and creative ways to communicateHas experience measuring results: developing the ROI for each project by measuring reaction, learning, behavior, and resultsIs highly organized and is skilled in time managementA passion for food, people and storytellingPreferred Experience: Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, bachelor’s degree in communications, English, PR, journalism, marketing, or a related field, Experience with Monday or other project management software, and Ability to travel up to 20%Physical Requirements:Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipmentMust be able to identify, analyze and assess detailsFor certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 poundsAbility to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectivelyConstantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicableAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerWhat we offer:Competitive salary, plus bonus and long-term incentiveUnlimited PTO, paid parental leave, plus paid opportunities to give back to the communityHealth, Dental, Vision, Telemedicine, Pet Insurance plus more401k enrollment with CAVA contributionCompany-paid STD, LTD, Life and AD&D coverage for salaried positions*Free CAVA foodCasual work environmentThe opportunity to be on the ground floor of a rapidly growing brandAll exempt and non exempt employees are eligible for benefits.
