The Partnership for Pediatric Care encompasses the inpatient units at Children’s Hospital of the University of Illinois (CHUI) and Cook County Health, serving more than 100,000 children with nearly 230,000 visits annually. to join our team. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience. The Department of Pediatrics at UIC has a strong commitment to improving health equity, and the ideal candidate will share this commitment through their activities in clinical care, teaching, service, scholarly work, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). All clinical and teaching activities will be in the outpatient setting. The position offers career development including: 1) research opportunities for those who have an interest; 2) leadership opportunities within the department; and 3) development of new educational programs including a potential fellowship program. The successful candidate will join multidisciplinary leaders in DBP clinical care, advocacy, and research. The Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics includes three board-certified developmental and behavioral pediatricians, one psychologist, one advanced practice nurse practitioner, and one clinical pharmacist. Qualifications: MD/DO or equivalent. Board certified or Board eligible in Pediatrics. Board certified or Board eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
