Senior Software Process Engineer (33967-DCOL)

Job Summary MathWorks has a hybrid work model that enables staff members to split their time between office and home. The hybrid model provides the advantage of having both in-person time with colleagues and flexible at-home life optimizations. Will be responsible for analyzing data, building data models and improving the software development process; solving challenging business issues with a data and insight-driven approach; performing end-to-end execution of the data science process that adhere to MathWorks design patterns, including understanding business requirements, data discovery and extraction, model development and evaluation; monitoring data and reporting trends, and leveraging best practices across the industry and the broader organization; utilizing MATLAB and Simulink for analyzing and building statistical models to solve specific business problems; analyzing, designing, developing and maintaining new or existing models and databases in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Snowflake, and SQL Server to ensure data is current and aligned with business logic; collaborating with user experience researchers, developers, and business leaders to design metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive new business initiatives with the ultimate purpose of improving the MathWorks products.
