We have a large pipeline of projects and are searching for the right people to help facilitate our growth.The Director, Asia Pacific Development will be responsible for the execution of development opportunities from inception through stabilization. The role will manage all aspects of the assigned real estate development project(s) including coordinating and administering the project development process from initial concepts and planning stages, through due diligence, market research, acquisition, design, permitting, financing, construction, and transition to operations or sale; including performing other duties as assigned.Position:

Houston, Texas (in office)Key Responsibilities:Work with the Managing Director to identify viable development opportunities including ground-up and redevelopments.Perform market feasibility and project underwriting for presentation to Investment Committee.Conduct due diligence and entitlements on prospective and existing projects including working knowledge of geotechnical reports, environmental studies, and infrastructure planning.Coordinate with development and construction teams on cost estimating and budgeting for new projects.Manage consulting team coordination including third-party architects, engineers, attorneys, and other groups to ensure seamless progress of projects.Track project progress and scheduling with regular reporting to leadership.Coordinate with government officials for permitting and entitlements during the due diligence process and throughout the project life.Oversee day-to-day management of all components of the development process and direct team members in their contributions to the movement of the deal.Travel may be required, along with unusual work hours related to governmental coordination necessary for development processes.Qualifications:Undergraduate or graduate degree in real estate, finance, business or similar field.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate.Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Results-oriented with ability to achieve and exceed targets.Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and commitment to excellence.Initiative, resourcefulness, prioritization, and ability to perform in a team environment while multitasking in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.Proficiency with scheduling and tracking software.Must have a vehicle and a valid Texas driver’s license.Values in line with NewQuest’s core values.If you are a strategic leader with a passion for real estate and a proven track record of success, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
