Job Description

As the HR Manager, you'll be the go-to person for all things HR-related on site. You will collaborate closely with department heads, ensuring HR policies are applied consistently and in line with legal requirements. This role will be responsible for stakeholder management, employee relations matters, process redesign, successful adoption of new systems and policies, and driving end-to-end change initiatives while ensuring alignment with global strategies and objectives. This position is a full-time onsite role which will require being present at the plant Monday through Friday.Responsibilities:Drive and influence the people aspects of organizational change, structures, processes, and initiatives in order to improve operational efficiency and plant team performance.Lead and execute all site human resources ventures, including employee relations, performance management, human resources compliance, organizational development, and training.Manage all human resource policies and programs related to employment law, employee health and safety, staffing, wage and salary compensation, benefits, and worker's compensation.Conduct the on-boarding and in-processing for colleagues who are new to the plant, as well as off-boarding for employees who are leaving the organization.Provide performance management guidance to operations management, which includes coaching, counseling, career development, and progressive corrective actions.Investigate and resolve employee relations matters in an equitable and consistent manner that recognizes employee advocacy and protects the business need to operate in an effective and efficient manner.Deliver innovative programs, tools and processes that enable plant leadership to identify, develop and retain talent, as well as increase employer net promotion.Promote corporate citizenship and strengthen the relationship between the Company and the local community, measuring and managing the social and environmental impact of plant endeavors.Miscellaneous duties as assigned.Qualifications

6+ years experience as an HR Manager, preferably in the manufacturing industry.Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or other related field of study - A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.Advanced knowledge of state and federal labor laws.Works well under pressure and in a multicultural environment.Exceptional conflict management skills and commitment to confidentiality.Additional Information
