So if you want to be challenged in an exciting and fast-paced environment, this is the place for you!Job Summary:As the Manager - EVS at Bally's, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the EVS department.Duties and Responsibilities:Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere.Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations.Adhere to guest service expectations.Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Bally's Chicago EVS Manual.Develop budgets for area of responsibility.Proficiently utilize programs to submit, track, and follow-up on work orders.Maintain the approved preventative maintenance program on all equipment.Be familiar with and ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.Maintain a safety program to ensure all Team Members have a safe work environment.Manage, control, and order all supplies and inventory in the department. Frequently update yourself on new products and materials for continuous operational improvement.Consistently stay updated on the latest equipment and chemicals.Conduct the approved departmental training program to ensure all Team Members are properly trained to their assigned tasks.Conduct inspections on all casino and non-gaming EVS areas daily.Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal, and other regulatory procedures.Develop, implement, maintain, and monitor an effective team member relations program through effective communication.Foster and maintain positive team member relations in a supportive environment and interface with other departments to ensure a harmonious working relationship.Hire, train, coach, assess and review the job performance of subordinates including both non-exempt and exempt team members.Continue professional development of self and subordinates as well as assist all team members with career planning and counseling as needed.Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image standards of self and subordinates.Conduct and attend all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings.Complete necessary reports in a timely manner to meet deadlines.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Must be 21 years of age or older.Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.High school or equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.2-3 years' experience as an EVS leader.Knowledge and experience in management/supervision.Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite.Must have excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.Must have excellent problem-solving skills and must be able to work with shifting priorities.Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.Physical Demands:Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk.Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel.Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor.Must occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.Work Environment:You may be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations in this position.
