NEW TEAM - Analyst, Associate, Manager, and Director level roles

Locations: FULLY REMOTE (Anywhere in the USA)

This is an opportunity to join an industry-leading renewable energy venture with strong private equity backing that is focused on the development and execution of dynamic utility-scale energy storage projects. They are at the forefront of the industry, have accumulated over 8GW of projects in a relatively short period of time, and are currently in an accelerated expansion phase which includes the creation of a NEW business unit that will fall under the Office of the CEO.

This business unit will work directly with the CEO and Executive Team on exploring new markets, technologies, and forward-thinking business models to keep innovation at the forefront of tackling climate issues. All explorations will be backed by solid due diligence and business case assessments driven by project finance as well as capital market models.

Capital Markets Project Finance, Business Development (Sr. Manager to Director level)

BD Capital Markets Manager / Director - Leads the strategy for originating innovative commercial opportunities across various capital markets as well as renewable energy technologies through complex project finance models and business case assessments.

BD Capital Markets Manager / Director - Works with the CEO to align the company's strategic growth/expansion goals with consideration of capital needs for current and new utility-scale renewables technologies.

BD Capital Markets Manager / Director - Creates executive-level market analysis reports covering the project finance landscape across domestic and international capital markets to capitalize on emerging technologies.

BD Capital Markets Manager / Director - Plays a key role in evaluating and leading complex large project finance transactions, tax equity incentives, and bidding across the organization.

BD Capital Markets Manager / Director - Advises on the commercial impact of legislative initiatives such as the IRA (Inflation Reduction Act) and stays ahead of DOE (Department of Energy) infrastructure goals.

Capital Markets Project Finance, Business Development (Analyst to Associate level)

BD Project Finance Analyst / Associate - Works with SMEs across the organization on financial modeling initiatives at the project and strategic levels supporting the CEO on domestic/international commercial expansion business cases.

BD Project Finance Analyst / Associate - Takes full ownership of the financial models associated with renewable project off-take, bidding, debt/equity structuring, project sales, and tax incentive strategies.

BD Project Finance Analyst / Associate - Partners with key stakeholders to create/implement financial analysis and forecasting tools for corporate financing, capital market requirements, FP&A, and renewable project financing assessments.

BD Project Finance Analyst / Associate - Is accountable for optimizing the company's financial analytic processes and helping mitigate risk to the company's portfolio by constantly reviewing industry macroeconomic trends (interest rates, tax law changes, finance structures, etc.) in the renewables industry and/or the corresponding US Power Markets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Project finance / Capital Markets experience supporting Investment Banking, Power, Renewables, Tax Equity, DOE, or Energy Infrastructure transactions.

MUST have STRONG PROJECT FINANCE MODELING expertise in Microsoft Excel (MS Excel) and DEBT/EQUITY STRUCTURING experience.

Experience with complex debt equity structures, tax equity transactions, and/or advanced project finance deal execution STRONGLY preferred.

Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex analytical formulas in an understandable format to key internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to participate (or quickly learn to participate) in advanced level discussions in the utility-scale renewables (solar, wind, storage, hydrogen, new tech), transmission, and battery storage space.

An understanding of national energy power markets - PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO is beneficial but NOT required.
