We also have one of the nation’s largest kidney and pancreas transplant programs at The Joseph and Corinne Schwartz Division of Transplantation, home to Maryland’s first steroid-free protocol and pancreas/kidney transplant. From our National Cancer Institute-designated UM Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center to The University of Maryland’s Children’s Hospital, one of the largest pediatric centers in the state, we are dedicated to saving and transforming lives. Job Summary: Under general supervision, perform routine and specialized diagnostic and therapeutic angiography procedures on patients following established parameters/protocols for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Assist in maintaining a smooth operational flow and maximum patient volume. Responsibilities: Operates technical angiography equipment and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with standard operating procedures, according to departmental policies, procedures/protocols and as appropriate for the particular patient. Licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist. Advanced Certification in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology or Vascular Intervention required. CPR certification is required.
