Grants Management/Contract Specialist
to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Energy (ARPA-E). This position is full-time, exempt. Start date is immediate upon selection and public trust clearance processing as required.SUMMARYThe
Grants Management/Contract Specialist
role will support a government program office in the acquisition of advanced research technologies.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESApply comprehensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation acquisition process to support clients in the execution and management of federal financial assistance awards.Maintain responsibility for providing expertise in financial assistance agreement development, contract rules and regulations, and STRIPES or similar federal procurement systems.Work directly with federal contracting officers to complete a client's workload of executing new awards, no-cost extensions, administrative modifications, and administrative requirements associated with financial assistance agreements.Perform contract management functions to support contracting officers and develop procurement documentation for award recommendations, reviews, and updates to the requirements.Conduct strategic acquisition planning and analyze functional acquisition support documentation, including Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, cost base analysis, and instructions.Act as the liaison between business units and draft requisite briefings and documentation.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience with acquisition/procurement management and/or federal grants management.Attention to detail and ability to provide in-depth cost analysis related to the allowability, allocability, and reasonableness of costs being negotiated.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Word.Ability to obtain a security clearance.Mandatory Requirement:
