Remote Access Systems Specialist/Citrix EngineerThis candidate must be able to engineer platform upgrades and large scale system integrations with emphasis on the Citrix environment. The successful candidate will evaluate new technologies and develop departmental standard practices for Citrix systems. The candidate would be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity and performance of an enterprise wide deployment and will design, implementation and support the following core Citrix services:Multi-farm highly available Citrix XenApp 6.5/7.5 environmentCitrix XenDesktop 5.6/7.5Citrix Provisioning Services 6.1/7.1Citrix Netscaler Gateway 10.1Citrix Web Interface 5.4 and StorefrontCitrix Command CenterCitrix Insight ManagerCitrix branch repeatersHypervisor layers (VM and Xen Server)RES Workspace ManagerThinclient (embedded OS)In addition, the successful candidate would be required to:Collaborate with other teamsDemonstrate written and verbal communication skillsAccurately maintain documentation as it relates to configuration, processes, asset inventories, topologiesEnsure that the environment conforms to standards (industry and those set aside by the organization)Conduct regular health-checks on the environmentParticipate in the fulfillment of tier 3 service requestsEnsure that efficient deployment processes and techniques are maintained for continued roll out of standardized configurationParticipate in the evaluation of new features/enhancements and/or technologies that would improve user experienceDesign and deployment of enhancements in the environmentProvide support during on-call scheduleJob Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop in a 100+ server environmentKnowledge and experience with XenApp/XenDesktop farm migration and upgradesKnowledge and experience with Profile management suite implementation: RES, Tricerat, Citrix Profile ManagerExperience with Citrix server build standards, automation and provisioningExperience with implementing a remote access solution using Citrix Netscaler Gateway, including SSL VPNExperience in implementing Storefront to Windows/Mac and mobile devicesKnowledge and experience with hypervisor layer (VM and Xen server)Knowledge and experience with Windows Terminal Server 2008/2012, Active Directory and Group PolicyExperience in application deliveryCCEA and MCSE or MCITPScripting Experience: PowerShell, VBScriptEqual Opportunity Employer
