Job Description
KLA is looking for a Principal Electron-Optics Research Scientist in our Chief Technology Office in Milpitas, CA!
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Expertise in Electron Optics including Optical System design; Lens Design; and Tolerance Analysis of Complex Optical Systems
Extensive knowledge of high voltage electronics
Extensive knowledge in surface science of electron-surface interactions
Extensive knowledge in design and modelling of ultra-high vacuum systems
Develop and/or provide significant input to the top-level system specifications, sub-system error budget, interfaces, and working parameters for the optimum hardware solution
Stay up to date on related external research and developments
Collaborate with CTO team to develop new suppliers and research partners when appropriate
Ability to work in a clean room environment
Ability to travel up to 10%
The position is located in the U.S., must be willing to relocate to Milpitas, CA.
The salary range for this position is between 198,500 USD - 347,400 USD.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 8 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 12 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 15 years.
