The Consumer Insights & Strategic Planning Associate Manager plays a key role in the development and execution of Ocean Spray's brand strategy by supporting key stakeholders through the insight discovery and validation process. As part of the Insights team you will be a strategic business partner to the Ocean Spray Beverage business unit working to identify big ideas that drive significant growth to the business and for Ocean Spray.

This role requires a high degree of collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive consumer-centric brand strategies, to present forward-thinking consumer trends and to socialize consumer and business insight.

Role has hybrid flexibility with a location of Lakeville or Boston, MA.

A Day in the Life...

Strategic Business Partner with Beverage Team

Embedded into the business team represent the integrated voice of the consumer and market to ensure learnings are embedded in decision making.

An in-depth understanding of consumer, customer, and market to provide insights that are embraced, acted upon and lead to business growth.

Possess holistic understanding to support the entire business needs, including market analytics, consumer, shopper, and trends.

Works to raise the business team's consumer and analytic understanding for their business, a continual learning environment.

Key Team Member for all Insights Activities

In partnership with Insight Manager and business unit leads, develop and establish annual learning plan for business unit ensuring that it is linked to strategic issues that drive towards growth. This includes methodology selection and budget management.

Flexibility in both working to execute projects as well as leveraging and synthesizing all relevant insights impacting the Ocean Spray brand.

Utilize and mine syndicated data sources in order to provide data driven understanding of the category and consumer.

Keep a pulse on key market and cultural trends relevant to business objectives.

Manage relationships with various agency and research partners to improve quality and impact of insights.

Manage the Consumer Insights & Strategic Planning budget process including, managing contracts and invoices through the internal system, monitoring budget allocations to ensure department budget is on plan.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree

3+ years of relevant experience, ideally with some research agency experience, with:

Consumer brand planning/innovation/brand/insights

Consumer research working across a range of methodologies (quant & qual)

POS/Syndicated data systems (such as Circana, Nielson, NPD) to inform decision making

Managing/co-managing projects

Cross functional teams, and establishing strong partnership both internally as well as externally

Must demonstrate both analytical AND creative thinking abilities

Must be highly creative, innovative and consumer minded

Strong communicator (verbal and written)

Ability to tell a story and simplify complex data in a few meaningful slides

Education:

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
