Assists Superintendent in coordinating subcontractors and/or supervises trade workers at the project site. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities to ensure continuous installation of materials with the level of quality determined by the contract documents for both interior finish and exterior work on the project.Reports to the appropriate level of Superintendent and is the link between Balfour Beatty Construction and the subcontractors.Essential Functions

Monitors the schedule of work for each assigned subcontractor and ensures the proper methods and materials are being installed in accordance with the contract requirements. Reports discrepancies to the subcontractor.Project Start-up and Scheduling

Attains a thorough understanding of contract drawings, specifications, and scope of work and requirements of subcontractors.Coordinates subcontractor’s coordination drawings and assures all trades are involved in the process.Project Administration, Operations and Close-out

Coordinates problems and solutions related to interior or exterior work.Reviews the installed work for compliance with the submittals and contract.Knowledgeable of safety hazards and works closely with subcontractors to maintain a high level of safety awareness.Assists the Superintendent in communicating with subcontractors a consistent level of expectations and direction regarding schedules, construction methods, safety, quality control and other performance.Coordinates the schedule and receipt of finish materials.Ensures the proper flow-line and sequence of work is being followed by the subcontractors.Assists Superintendent in the pre-final inspections of the work prior to the punch list and ensures a timely project closeout process is followed.Promote Customer Relations

The majority of work is completed on job sites in an office trailer or in an existing structure. Employees must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required by the company's safety policies.The project team may need to move to other projected work geographic locations, if necessary.Education, Experience and Knowledge
