See the Benefits home page for more information.Position SummaryThe UNM Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is eager to put together the right package for addictions-trained physicians with an interest in teaching, coupled with an interest in joining a team of talented, caring and committed faculty members.Applications are being accepted for academic faculty physicians, suitable for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor, for a position in our Addiction Psychiatry Division.The successful candidate can take full advantage of opportunities available in our vibrant and active academic community.As an attending physician, the person(s) selected will have a voice in developing the addiction program's direction as well as opportunities for multicultural clinical care and scholarly and collaborative research activities across the Health Sciences campus.There are many opportunities for professional development in leadership, administration, and education, including mentoring and supervision of medical students, residents, fellows, and trainees in multiple disciplines.
