Job Posting: Field Service Technician

Location: 90% Travel (Domestic & International)
Pay: Competitive pay with overtime and bonus opportunities

We are seeking two highly skilled Field Service Technicians to join our dynamic service team. With around 1,800 machines in operation worldwide, our Field Service Technicians are essential in keeping operations running smoothly by handling installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Service, these positions offer the chance to travel extensively while earning great pay, including bonuses and overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to Job Sites
    Visit client locations to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment.

  • Installations
    Set up and install new equipment following precise specifications.

  • Maintenance & Repairs
    Perform routine checks, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs.

  • Customer Service
    Communicate with clients, explaining repairs and offering guidance on equipment use.

  • Troubleshooting
    Identify and resolve issues using specialized tools and software.

  • Documentation
    Keep detailed records of service, parts used, and time spent on jobs.

  • Inventory Management
    Maintain tools and parts inventory, ordering as needed.

  • Compliance
    Ensure all work follows safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Training & Updates
    Stay current with new technologies through ongoing training.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1+ years of experience in heavy industry (Entry-level candidates with technical education also considered).
  • Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience (inputs, outputs, ladder logic).
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  • Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Valid driver’s license & passport (or the ability to obtain one).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Foundry experience.
  • Technical education (2-year degree or bachelor’s degree).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Overtime paid at 1.5x, with hotel stay bonuses ($40/night) and weekend pay multipliers (1.5x Saturdays, 2x Sundays).
  • Per diem and mileage reimbursement.
