This internship is payrolled via payroll process provider.Responsibilities:Develop new or modified processes and methods applied in the manufacturing, fabrication, and evaluation of semiconductors

Work with group engineers to propose criteria and formats for hardware and process evaluations.

Compile, analyze and present experimental data to colleagues

Create and revise standard operating procedures as needed, and document tasks for future reference

Compile and analyze test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications

Assist in recommendation and interpretation of physical and chemical behaviors as part of process characterization

Become familiar with semiconductor processing techniques through literature and hands on learning

Prepare and present a final project report

Complete safety training to allow supervised work in the TEL process lab

Preferred Qualifications:Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Nanoscience or Engineering; Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering; Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields Experience with Statistical Design and Analysis of Experiment methods

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be fluent in English

Must be able to work in teams as well as individually

Experience working safely in a laboratory environment with hazardous chemicals

Ability and desire to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary and diverse team

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship

Physical Requirements:Job duties may be performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds may be required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing.
