Yours included.This Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant will be responsible for:Providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages and with all types of conditionsEliciting histories, performing examinations, and performing/interpreting diagnostic studiesPerforming therapeutic procedures, instruct and counsel patients about their diagnosisFacilitating the appropriate referral of patients, consistent with his or her supervising physician's scope of expertise and responsibility and delegated to him/her by the supervising physicianPerforming and/or assist with intravenous sedations in the office based settingProviding all aspects of pre-operative and post-operative care, as well as first or second assisting during surgeryWorking 40 hours per week: Monday through Friday, primarily in the Boston and Waltham locations with the possibility of travel to other satellite locations.To qualify, you must have:A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant StudiesA current MA state License as a Physician AssistantOne year of PA experience in the clinical and operating room settings and well as a strong interest in and understanding of the Plastic and Oral Surgery disciplines, preferredStrong analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in-depth, cross-functional experience-based knowledgeStrong communication skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, and well-developed writing skillsBoston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits including flexible schedules, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, child care and student loan subsidies, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition and certain License and Certification Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes.
