The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. A customer-oriented approach is essential. This role is based in OpenGov's Boston office. This position is scheduled for 30 hours per week and is benefits eligible.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests, candidates, and new hires as well as conduct office tours to first-time visitorsMonitor and supply office materials and food/beverage suppliesPlan, manage, communicate, and oversee in-office events including any catering for office lunches/meetingsMay coordinate messages, appointments, information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies, and mailPlan and manage local off-site eventsManage and maintain the office environment, ensuring it follows brand standards and is clean and presentableOversee ongoing maintenance of our facilities and repairsImplement and ensure office safety procedures and OSHA complianceMaintain and manage emergency response documentation and testing schedule, safety and evacuation plans, workplace violence plansCollaborate and manage relationships with vendors, and manage the procurement approval process where necessaryDrive efficiency in office procedures and processes, while maintaining workplace excellence through reporting, account management, and documentation upkeepOversee routine employee service requests, maintenance and cleaning tasks to team members ensuring that day-to-day requests are prioritized and completed in a timely mannerIdentify and implement cost-saving strategies, and manage to the budget providedBe an ambassador for company culture, including planning and executing office culture eventsCollaborate with leadership to ensure that company values and culture are integrated into daily office operationsFoster strong internal and external relationships, effectively collaborating across all organizational levels to understand their needs and ensure our workplace supports their objectivesRequirements and Preferred Experience:

3-5 years of experience as either a facilities manager, office manager or administrative assistantExperience with G-SuiteProven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant positionKnowledge of office management and basic bookkeepingStrong communication and people skillsGood organizational and multitasking abilitiesProblem-solving skillsCustomer service orientation

$35 - $42 an hour Other Compensation: Bonus eligibleThe final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location. This position is scheduled for 30 hours per week and is benefits eligible.
