Senior Accounts Receivable Manager

Vaco is partnered with a fast-growing Entertainment company near UCLA that is seeking a Sr Accounts Receivable Manager. This is a direct hire position that offers a hybrid schedule and incredible benefits.

Responsibilities:Oversee the entire Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing, receipt processing, collections, and monitoring AR aging.

Lead and manage a team of four employees responsible for AR and collections.

Track and forecast revenue and cash flow, managing a growing volume of customers and invoices.

Manage lockbox operations and maintain relationships with banking partners.

Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration of multiple systems, such as NetSuite and Salesforce.

Coordinate with the Revenue Operations Team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

Calculate, analyze, and report quarterly commissions earned by sales representatives.

Conduct analysis and reporting of revenue and cash flow.

Analyze contracts to determine revenue recognition; utilize NetSuite's advanced revenue module in compliance with ASC 606.

Collaborate with the accounting department to establish methodologies and maintain support for allowance for doubtful accounts accrual.

Prepare and review Accounts Receivable and revenue-related audit requests.

Proactively identify and implement best practices for Accounts Receivable processes.

Organize and manage tasks and projects effectively, maintaining clear deadlines and progress tracking.

Continuously develop knowledge and skills, including proficiency in Excel, attending business information meetings, and mastering relevant business systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, and Celigo connector.

Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to a growing AR team.

Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment with flexibility and a collaborative spirit.

Communicate progress, challenges, and deadlines clearly and promptly; seek clarity when needed.

Demonstrate accountability and follow-through in completing tasks and resolving obstacles.

Provide professional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns regarding invoices and outstanding balances.

Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree required, with preference for accounting experience.

Experience in managing and scaling large volume invoicing functions.

Experience with Order to Cash processes.

Experience managing process and transformation teams to scale department operations.

Familiarity with NetSuite

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (vLookups, Pivot tables, etc.).
