LMI is seeking a seasoned Senior Data Science Consultant to design and implement a comprehensive test and evaluation (T&E) strategy for a critical supply chain risk program for the Department of Defense.At LMI, we're reimagining the path from insight to outcome at The New Speed of Possible. Responsibilities

Develop and implement a test and evaluation framework for both front end and back end components of an enterprise solution including data products, modeling products and UI

Implement a test harness to systematically assess and validate the functionality and performance of solution componentsCollaborate with stakeholders to refine testing protocols, ensuring they align with operational requirements and customer priorities for supply chain risk managementIdentify practical test and training data sets for each evaluationDocument test findings and provide actionable insights to improve the system's reliability and effectiveness in real-time operational settingsSpearhead the integration of T&E methodologies into the ongoing development lifecycle to continuously adapt and enhance enterprise solution capabilitiesCollaborate closely with data engineers, UI developers, and domain experts to refine and integrate data science methodologies into an adaptive software ecosystemOperate proficiently within a Databricks environment, managing code development, testing, and deployment through notebooksManage data science initiatives, ensuring effective coordination and prioritization across multiple team engagementsEngage with cutting-edge data science techniques to address complex, large-scale data challenges

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field, supplemented by relevant work experienceMinimum of 5 years' experience in a data science capacityExtensive experience applying Agile methodologiesProven ability to design and execute test strategies that effectively assess complex software systemsRobust analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skillsActive DoD Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance preferred
