ActioNet has an open opportunity for a Cyber Software Engineer III eligible for SECRET Clearance. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.

Location: New Orleans, LA

Key Responsibilities Possess ten years of professional experience with a Master's degree or fourteen years with a Bachelor's degree in research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs, including database maintenance within an application area. Demonstrate experience applying programming concepts in professional or academic settings. Have notable experience with modern software development methodologies, such as agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS, in professional or academic settings. Accumulate at least three years of cybersecurity-focused experience in systems engineering or systems administration within an enterprise cloud hosting environment supporting multiple interconnected systems and enterprise managed services. Demonstrate experience supervising and/or mentoring less experienced personnel. Obtain at least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), or other relevant certifications as approved by the COR. Depending on tasking, hold certification in Information Assurance Management (IAM), Information Assurance Technical (IAT), or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II or III. Required Qualifications

Active Secret clearance, with eligibility for Top Secret Ten (10) years with Masters or 14 years with Bachelor's degree of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance within an application area. Individual shall have experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting. Three (3) years of cyber security focused experience in support of systems engineering or systems administration within an enterprise hosting environment in the cloud in support of multiple interconnected systems and enterprise managed services. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Individual shall have notable experience supervising and/or mentoring of lesser experienced personnel Required Certifications:

At least one (1) of the following: CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), or other certifications relevant to the role and as approved by the COR. Plus: individual shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II or III (position-based).
