They work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure the smooth and efficient function of the operating room. A Surgical Tech must have a strong understanding of sterile techniques and be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Graduates who have not obtained their certification will have one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program to obtain their certification.Current experience in OR or Ambulatory Surgery is required.Knowledge of patient care and aseptic technique is essential.Ability to organize and prioritize work.May not currently hold a valid nursing license.Preferred experience:Basic Life Support (BLS)About Brigham and Women’s HospitalBrigham and Women's Hospital
