We are always on the lookout for fresh, new visionaries to add to our roster of talented photojournalist intern.

This is a 6 month, non-paid internship position

that is hybrid-based and requires you to attend company and industry events.As a Photojournalist Intern at Justnlife.com, you will play a pivotal role in visually shaping our editorial narratives. Your primary responsibility will be to capture compelling and impactful images at company and industry events. These images will be seamlessly integrated into our editorial content on Justnlife.com, enhancing the storytelling experience and providing our audience with an immersive visual journey.Our aim is to equip you with the skills necessary to produce professional-grade images for yourself or any future employer.Responsibilities

Event Photography : Attend company and industry events to capture high-quality images that align with our brand identity. Skillfully document key moments, interviews, and behind-the-scenes shots to complement editorial stories.Collaboration with Editorial Team : Work closely with writers, editors, and other team members to understand the visual requirements of each story. Collaborate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for visual storytelling.Editing and Enhancement : Edit and enhance photographs using industry-standard software to meet the publication's style and standards. Ensure a consistent and visually appealing aesthetic across all images.Industry Awareness : Stay abreast of industry trends, cultural shifts, and emerging visual storytelling techniques. Incorporate creative and innovative approaches to enhance the overall visual appeal of our content.Deadline Management : Thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining the quality and creativity of visual content.Flexibility : Demonstrate flexibility in attending events, conducting on-site off-camera interviews, and traveling as required to capture relevant visual content.Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in photography, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles, composition, and lighting techniques.In-depth knowledge of photography equipment and accessories.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creativity and ability to think outside the box to develop engaging images.Familiarity with photo editing tools.Basic graphic design skills and knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Has own computer and internet.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.Must have reliable transportation to attend off-site events.Previous experience as a photojournalist, with a focus on event photography, preferably in a digital media environment.Hands-on experience in photojournalism for a growing company.Mentorship from experienced professionals in the editorial and social media field.Opportunities for skill development and networking within the industry.Attendance to weekly Monday Meeting.Responsiveness in the communication channels.Staying up-to-date on entertainment and lifestyle content.Bachelor's degree in Photography, Journalism, or a related field, preferred.How To Apply
