This is especially evident in our Physical Systems and Sciences group, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where scientists and engineers anticipate the future in very large and very small scale scientific systems that need to survive challenged operating environments.RTX BBN Technologies is seeking an electrical engineer to support, develop, and initiate advanced research and development projects in their Physical Sciences and Systems business unit in Cambridge, MA.Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Employees are required to be on-site for 3 days per workweek. Schedule of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.What will you do:The successful candidate will leverage their prior experience with analog and digital electronics circuit design to develop hardware solutions needed to analyze physical phenomena (e.g., acoustics, optics, vibration, electro-magnetics, etc.) along with testing and analysis of advanced sensors, circuits, or devices.The candidate will be expected to plan portions of large programs and coordinate their efforts across multidisciplinary teams. The candidate will also support new business development by participating in proposals and making presentations to prospective customers. YesThe salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
