We are looking for a dynamic professional to join our global planning and design community. It is our ambition to partner for sustainable change through our work. Our projects and solutions aim to inspire and innovate, pursuing regenerative principles.We are seeking a multi-skilled urban planner/designer, with 10+ years’ experience. Ideally, you will have strong strategic planning, urban design, smart cities, urban development and/or policy preparation experience. We are looking for someone with experience and interest to work on strategic planning, master planning, smart/liveable cities, urban policy projects, including international city development programs. Our team has a strong pipeline of work in planning policy, international smart cities, place and liveability, strategic planning, and master planning.You will be eager to develop strong relationships with our clients, contribute to a range of projects both locally and internationally, and actively support the growth of our planning and design business in Australia and Asia Pacific. As a Senior member of the Sydney ‘People and Places’ team, your primary technical role includes:Lead member of the People and Places team, based in Sydney office with a focus on strategic urban planning, urban design and master planning, and international city development programs in Asia Pacific RegionWork with the Principal, People and Places to:Lead and take ownership for the management and delivery of quality technical client services for Ramboll projects in Sydney, NSW and Asia Pacific RegionGrow the size, capabilities and client base of the People and Places team in NSW, Australia and Asia Pacific RegionCo-design of a dynamic business strategy for a viable and reputable urban planning, master planning and urban design business.Your role also includes:Lead in the growth of the People and Places practice through focus on quality and fostering strong working relationships with clientsEstablish and maintain relationships with clients externally and within the business to identify, pursue and win new work opportunitiesBuild a strong backlog of small and large projects to enable organic growth of the teamMentor and train the junior members of the urban planning teamActively represent Ramboll Australia and the Sydney Office capabilities in the industry.About You
