Department Summary
The College of Health and Public Service (HPS) at the University of North Texas prepares graduates to address diverse and complex social issues such as aging, disability, disaster management and recovery, criminal justice, health disparities, and public safety. We have seven academic departments with undergraduate and graduate programs, the Center for Public Management, and various professional development and clinical training programs.
Position Overview
This position will support and provide services on various Behavior Analysis Resource Center (BARC) sponsored projects. The successful candidate will have extensive skills in working with a variety of stakeholders, including those within UNT, clinical service providers, and governmental agencies, particularly at the state level.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in behavior analysis or a related field. Strong skills in general experimental design, staff training, the assessment and treatment of severe behavior disorders, services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and student mentoring.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of demographics orally and in writing.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., up to 19 hours per week
