By joining Main and Mission, you are part of an ambitious team of change makers. We’re seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to lead our cloud consulting practice. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture, combined with strong leadership and client-facing skills. Key Responsibilities: Lead and grow our AWS cloud consulting practice Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for clients Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members Develop cloud adoption strategies and migration plans Conduct client workshops and presentations Stay current with AWS services and best practices Requirements: 7+ years of experience with AWS cloud architecture AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance Experience leading teams and managing client relationships Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Background in consulting or professional services preferred AWS Specific Requirements: Comprehensive knowledge of core AWS services, including but not limited to: – Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS – Storage: S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier – Database: RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift – Networking: VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, Direct Connect – Security: IAM, KMS, WAF, Shield – Management and Governance: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config Proficiency in designing and implementing: – Highly available and fault-tolerant architectures – Serverless and microservices architectures – DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using AWS services – Multi-account strategies and AWS Organizations – Disaster recovery and business continuity solutions Experience with AWS cost optimization strategies and tools Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework and its five pillars Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and AWS outposts Knowledge of AWS compliance programs (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC) Ability to leverage AWS SDKs and CLI for automation and scripting Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform Demonstrated ability to: – Conduct AWS account and application assessments – Perform cloud readiness assessments and TCO analyses – Create detailed cloud migration strategies and execution plans – Optimize existing AWS environments for performance and cost Submit your resume to hello@mainandmission.com.
