AWS Cloud Architect – Consulting Practice Lead

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture, combined with strong leadership and client-facing skills.Key Responsibilities:Lead and grow our AWS cloud consulting practiceDesign and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for clientsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to team membersDevelop cloud adoption strategies and migration plansConduct client workshops and presentationsStay current with AWS services and best practicesRequirements:7+ years of experience with AWS cloud architectureAWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certificationStrong understanding of cloud security, networking, and complianceExperience leading teams and managing client relationshipsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsBackground in consulting or professional services preferredAWS Specific Requirements:Comprehensive knowledge of core AWS services, including but not limited to:– Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS– Storage: S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier– Database: RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift– Networking: VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, Direct Connect– Security: IAM, KMS, WAF, Shield– Management and Governance: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS ConfigProficiency in designing and implementing:– Highly available and fault-tolerant architectures– Serverless and microservices architectures– DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using AWS services– Multi-account strategies and AWS Organizations– Disaster recovery and business continuity solutionsExperience with AWS cost optimization strategies and toolsFamiliarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework and its five pillarsUnderstanding of hybrid cloud architectures and AWS outpostsKnowledge of AWS compliance programs (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC)Ability to leverage AWS SDKs and CLI for automation and scriptingExperience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or TerraformDemonstrated ability to:– Conduct AWS account and application assessments– Perform cloud readiness assessments and TCO analyses– Create detailed cloud migration strategies and execution plans– Optimize existing AWS environments for performance and costSubmit your resume to hello@mainandmission.com.
