Entry- to Mid-Level Interior Designer

Broderick Architects is a respected firm that focuses on creative, practical solutions to design challenges. We have a successful thirty-eight-year track record with a diverse range of projects, specializing in ecclesiastical, master planning, commercial renovations, and residential (new construction & remodels). We provide both architectural and interior design services in house using ArchiCad for all of our modeling and drafting. Our ten-person firm places a strong emphasis on providing personal attention to each client. We are able to give this personal attention to our clients because of the quality and focus of our design team. Right now, Broderick Architects has an immediate opening for an Entry-Level to Mid-Level Interior Designer.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

BA, BS, or BAA in Interior Design or BASID

B.Arch or M.Arch with professional Interior Design experience

0-5 years post-graduation experience

Willingness to work on a diverse set of projects and project phases

Strong communication, collaboration and curiosity

Ability to multi-task and be pro-active

Assist with producing architectural drawings, details, and schedules

Experience with material, finish, and fixture research and selection

Comfortable working individually as well as with a team, as well as coordinating with clients, consultants, product representatives and local jurisdictions

Familiarity with local building codes, regulations and energy codes

Required technical skills: ArchiCAD or Revit, Adobe Creative Suites, Microsoft Office Products

Recommended skills: Rendering Software and MAC platform
