POSITIONThe Division of Politics, Administration, and Justice at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Political Science Part-Time Lecturer Pool. We are seeking intelligent, highly motivated, and well-organized part-time lecturers to teach in our curriculum. We are particularly interested in faculty to teach in face-to-face classes.An area of particular need is experience teaching or qualifications to teach upper-division and graduate courses in comparative politics or international law. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSCandidates should be enrolled in a Ph.D. program in political science or public administration, or have an M.A with substantial graduate work. Candidates should have prior teaching experience at the university level. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment. Initial appointments are for one semester only.Classification Range: $5,007 - $6,359 per month. Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $5,925 per month.CAMPUS & AREAStanding on 241 acres at the heart of Southern California, the university was founded in 1957 and has grown into a population of over 41,000 students.
