In some teaching areas and subject matters, a B.S. in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) will satisfy the minimum qualification.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSM.S. degree and professional licensure preferred. Previous teaching and/or consulting experience in any branch of Civil and/or Environmental Engineering are also desirable.SPECIAL CONDITIONSFollowing a conditional offer of employment, a background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate may start work with Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
