This role requires a skilled attorney with 4-6 years of experience in commercial lending and real estate transactions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in handling commercial loans and real estate transactions and will be adept at navigating complex legal issues.Duties:Manage and execute commercial lending and real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, and financing.Draft, review, and negotiate commercial loan agreements, real estate purchase agreements, and related documents.Conduct due diligence and prepare detailed reports on land use, permitting, title examinations, and title insurance.Provide legal advice to clients on commercial real estate matters, including property acquisition, development, and financing.Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.Represent clients in negotiations, closings, and other transactional activities.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting commercial lending and real estate.Assist with land use and permitting matters, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.Manage and prioritize multiple cases and transactions efficiently.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to the Maine and New Hampshire Bar.4-6 years of experience in commercial lending and real estate transactions, with a demonstrated ability to close deals effectively.Additional experience in land use and permitting matters, title examinations, and title insurance is preferred.Strong understanding of commercial lending laws and real estate regulations.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Bar in Maine and New Hampshire.Skills:Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in legal research and using relevant legal software and tools.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Benefits Offered:Generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.Paid time off and paid holidays.
