Join us.Barbaricum is seeking junior through senior-level Data Scientists to support the Long-Range Enterprise Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Activity (LEIA) Task Order, following the ongoing Combatant Commands C5ISR - Pacific Operations (C3PO) TO. This team will deliver advanced data analytics expertise to Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) and its strategic partners, ensuring the success of multi-mission capabilities. The Data Scientist will analyze, interpret, and manage large datasets, applying cutting-edge techniques to enhance intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations in a complex, multi-domain environment.Responsibilities

Handle both structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.Enable data-related processes like entity extraction, disambiguation, and visualization.Support common operating picture solutions and data visualization efforts.Enhance processes for data entity extraction and resolution.Improve pattern extraction and link analysis techniques.Optimize analysis of human and social-network links and connections.Upgrade cloud-based online analytical processing and data frameworks.Provide support for data visualization and algorithm development.Design, modify, and maintain software tools that extract insights from data.Work on a range of software components, including information management systems, software applications, machine learning models, and automation solutions.Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 3-10+ years of experienceExperience with machine learning (ML) fields, e.g., natural language processing, computer vision, statistical learning theoryExperience in an ML engineer or data scientist role building ML modelsProficient in writing code in Python, R, Scala, Java, C++ with documentation for reproducibilityExperience handling terabyte-sized datasets, discovering hidden patterns, using data visualization tools, writing SQL, and working with GPUs to develop modelsExperience writing and speaking about technical concepts to business, technical, and lay audiences, and giving data-driven presentationsAdditional InformationFor more information about Barbaricum, please visit our website at
