Posting Summary:
Rutgers Cancer Institute, the state’s only National Cancer Institute Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, located in New Brunswick, NJ, is seeking a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. An Academic Physician provides cutting-edge patient care, contributes to the innovative education of physicians, and participates in groundbreaking clinical research through the enrollment of patients onto clinical trials.
The ideal candidate has the opportunity to contribute to ongoing trial accrual and to develop teaching initiatives with medical students, fellows, and house staff. Applicants with interests in building a busy clinical practice are encouraged to apply.
Academic appointment will be commensurate with experience and housed in the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School with a resident faculty appointment at the Rutgers Cancer Institute. Faculty at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School will have the opportunity to engage in exciting teaching and mentorship activities for medical students and residents as well as targeted lectures in their area of expertise.
Qualifications:
MD/DO
Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Board Certification in Pediatrics, Pediatric Hem/Onc
Licensed in NJ or eligible for NJ licensure
Both experienced physicians and new fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply!
